Thread: Is there like a black market for B13 trunklids or something?

Came out to the car yesterday morning (it was my last night at the apartment) and was greeted with this:



Somebody stole my trunklid! WTF?

Whoever did it knew exactly how to unlock a B13, and that they wanted the trunklid fast. At least they didn't smash the window.

Pull-a-part to the rescue (the lid even has an LE badge still), thanks to Bodok for riding me over there. I also scored a door weatherstrip, NX2000 seat rails, a rad fan, and a mirror to replace my cracked one.



The house is pretty nice, i like having a garage!

I know you were in a hurry, but I have an SE-R trunk without the spoiler and its red. Let me know if you'd be interested and we can dig it out and take a look at it.

Ii don't think anything's wrong except a couple of holes I drilled for a different spoiler (that I have sitting around too).

That would be really kind of you. Does that spoiler have a 3rd brake light by chance? Mine kinda went with the trunklid.

I was going to run back up to pull a part soon and grab the red bumpers off the red SE-R / LE Then I won't have to bug you about yours, hehe. The yellow NX was pretty sad looking, but the seat rails should serve me nicely.

Wtf?! It was just a regular trunklid?! Damn thiefs don't care what they get, as long as it came from a B13.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome to see an SE, SE-R and an NX on the same day (Kevin and I went last week)..but the NX was CRAP!

We tried to snag the strut, but it just occured to Kevin as we were getting it off that the spring might be cut....it was! The strut was blown.

The spoiler does, but its from an 80s 200sx, so it would have to be "DYI." It would look cool though!

You're welcome to come by and look at it all..I just never felt compelled to throw it away.

That's.. really... weird. They didn't mess with anything else? Most any junkyard is packed with B13s. P-a-P charges $20.10 for a trunk.

Maybe the underpants gnomes moved into a new market. "Phase one, collect trunk lids."

Ok, i was working on repairing the door lock and this fell out. No idea where it goes, but it seems to prevent the doorhandle from opening the door:
