I believe you should be able to see all my pictures and whatever else I post on there without even being my "friend". You should be able to comment as well.

Come on Aaron, your facebook-fu is weak. Click a picture at the top and then once it is open click the photo album name.

Facebook album permalink (in case the images don't show up in the future).

Some of the furniture wasn't available and needed to be shipped to the store, so we picked that up about a week later.

This is one of the boxes of parts for the bed.

The other bed box.

We got the headboard for the bed, even though it was a bit pricey. It just wouldn't look right without it.

Living room end table.

Bed assembly.

Here it is with the full/double futon on top (not the right size) and the bedding Katie got for Christmas. We will be mattress shopping for a queen pretty soon.

Sorry you can't see the two night stands very well, and I didn't get a good picture of the rest of the furniture in the bedroom. I will have to do that some time very soon.

And here is the guest bedroom across the hall, furnished with things Katies had from her parent's home and a cheap bed frame we bought.

New rule, you can't post pics without having AT LEAST 1 of your sister.

Did you choose queen for a reason? I love our king. Not sure what I'd do without it lol.

Ben, you're a homeowner now.

Go to your preferred DIY store and buy a set of cordless tools including, at a minimum, a drill, a circular saw, and a reciprocating saw.

None of this trying to assemble and modify furniture with a pocket knife or a drywall saw... Sheesh.

Damn. Why'd you have to go and do that?
Gimme a minute...

We had a full/double for a long while, and it was almost long enough, and not nearly wide enough. We figured a queen would give us the length and width we needed. Also there is no way a king would have fit in the room. It's extremely tight as it is with the queen.
As it turns out, the queen is just perfect for us. I'm only 5'7" BTW.

I know I need to get some more tools. I have a cordless drill as you can see here. I don't have a circular saw yet, but once I have the need to cut some wood I will grab a corded one. Reciprocating saw is a good idea. Not sure why I didn't think of that. I was going to get a jig saw/skill saw. Obviously I wasn't in the right frame of mind.

I will surely stock up on more tools once the damn garage gets doors so I can secure them. Right now things are stacking up in the Florida sun room instead.
