The water coming through the pipe should have come clear after awhile. You still have some crud in there and will probably be doing it again. Best solution is to replace the cast iron with PVC. Do not put grease (from cooking) down the sink or garbage disposal. When using the garbage disposal, let it run for a few seconds after it cuts up everything to get a clean flush.
You may know all this already. Don't mean to offend you.
I work at a college with buildings 100 years old and houses 70-80 years old. I have never seen black goo come out of pipes like in your video.
See you at the convention.

So here's the new garbage disposal. The last one started leaking like crazy after trying to plunge out the kitchen sink drain. Attempting to re-seal it with Ultra Grey RTV failed so we grabbed a new one.

Coincidentally this caused even more issues. Keep reading...

Okay so this is the drain in the middle and above it is the provision for the washing machine drain-back. If you don't have a dish washer, this hole is plugged when you get the garbage disposal so no big deal. You have to poke through the plastic plug to open it up if you do need to use it. This escaped my attention for a long time causing more issues. Keep reading.

Yay, all done yes?
No.

The upper hose comes from the dish washing machine which pumps the water out of the bottom of the dish washer into this hose to drain through the garbage disposal. I had left the plug in place in that provision so when the dish washer ran the hose would leak at that junction. I ended up rigging a better seal there with some plastic wrap used to make the bung wider. This stopped the leak, but the washing machine still would not drain. So I took that thing out and went searching for issues with the pump or something.

So here I am with the dish washer pump disassembled. Seems fine. Also checked the filters and such and everything looked good.

I ended up putting the pump back together and testing it while plugged in and it spun just fine. I was going to test to see if it would actually pump water so I grabbed the hose attached to it for that purpose. Before pulling the hose off the garbage disposal though I tried to blow through it just to make sure it wasn't clogged somehow.

It turned out that it was clogged! I couldn't blow through it. So I took it off the garbage disposal and then I could blow through it! So I finally looked at the garbage disposal drain-back provision and found the damn plastic plug!

There is that little sucker! Causing me all sorts of issues.

Bought and installed the same one. Bob Vila would smack ya for the oversight.

We upgraded our super-simple thermostat to a slightly smarter unit. I considered everything and almost ended up with a Nest unit, but in the end I settled on this silly thing. I'd say more, but it is a boring story.

The paint on the wall in the kitchen started acting up and I can't leave well enough alone so I started picking at it. Sorry, no more details. I'm busy.
