Got out and in thanks to sr20s rule...still with no luck..I think the trans is wrecked and I cant see myself putting anymore time or money into this car. I feed Up with it. Man I really appreciate all you did for me! Thanks again

no problem bro, sorry it didnt work out. everything is in place where it needs to be. cable is brand new, clutch is smooth and fully disengages when the pedal is pressed, its just extremely tough to put in gear if you can find one. Which leads me to believe that its the trans itself. we can attempt it again if you like. Can someone else chime in on this. you have to slam it into gear. you only get 1st and 3rd sometimes and only get 2nd while decelerating. the linkage and stabilizer bar is not caught on anything. what would cause it not to go into gear????

I had a tooth stuck in the linkage one time that kept it from going into gear. But that was after I stripped 3rd gear. But it could be something in there

its not bent. everything is straight as an arrow and in place where it needs to be
