Crim, MR. 200SX: where you guys just asking, or would you do this if we could? Becuase if so that makes six who say they have cash in hand. Of course we still need a location sutable for it. Anyone have an idea on that?

Looks like we about got the people, if only we had a place. North GA/TN area would be nice.

Decent size garage with a relatively flat floor. Thats what we need. Oh, and one more person with money in hand.

EDIT: Infact, in looking at things, we need one more person, in TN (central for all of us pretty much) with a large level garage.

I have seen beam bending at $75 for geek outs and $100, why is it now $200? I want it done, but damn, $200 gets me a progress rear bar!

~$125 is what Steve charges. Why $200? We have to fly him out here and give him a place to stay for a day or two. $200 is a safe number:

Plane ticket on the fly: ~$275
Hotel room for 2 nights: ~$130 ($65ish a night)

So that's about $405 divided by $67.50. Add in your $125 and thats about $192.50. Round up to be safe and we can say about $200 for six people to get this ever rare thing done for us in the southeast. More people means cheaper cost, but we all know people say one thing but really can not do it. So first six people with money in hand get this going. More join in, great. If not, oh well.

So, Brent, you would make our sixth. You in?

I will drive anywhere within the closest 450 miles to get this done...

You are the man. Do you even have a B14? Or just perhaps doing us the biggest favor in the world?

Ok, so we have six who say they have money in hand:

XxToKeSxX, OH
nsusammyeb, KY
Old guy, GA
AztekSE-R, VA
jingjing, KY
zer099, GA

Maybe a 7th depending on if Coach is in or not. And I am sure maybe one or two more will chime in once this fantasy becomes more real.

Problem is our only garage choice on the south side of Atl, GA. Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia are not exatly touching GA so that's a drive for 2/3 of us. I was hoping for something a little more central for us. But, this is what we have so far. What's everyone think?

BTW, I already talked to Steve and he confirmed the base price. I think we need to get some of his tools here too. But until there is at least six of us with money waiting he doesn't want to take it farther. We have six, I just want us to be fine with a place first too.

Ideas?

Another idea for a place to do the bending - how about the dyno shop in Calhoun (I don't remember the name). They have a lot of "parking" space inside away from the dyno and lifts. Steve could fly into Chattanooga and stay there if less expensive. Probably 2 hours closer for the northern folks.
