south pull-a-part

went to pull-a-part south today. they had 32 sentras. 18 of which were B13s, 4 B14s, 2 NXs, and 3 G20s. but all the sentras and NXs had one thing in common. they were all "1.6L"!!!!!!

and the G20s had either no motor/trans at all or an "autotragic". what a day.

I hate those days. That's happened to me a few times. I figured it was payback for the time I found like 3 mani G20s, an SE-R 200sx, a J30 with it's MAF, and a B13 with a blown GTi-R in it (turbo was yanked). This was between the North and South PaP. That was a good day. Since then I haven't seen crap in the yards...

a gti-r motor in the junkyard????? I wish. I have enough trouble just trying to find SE-Rs. the closest i came to finding an SE-R today was a B13 GXE. which ive only seen like 2 of those in my life. it had all power options and a factory sunroof like the SE-Rs

Ya, it was in this neo orange B13. It looked like it had been road hard and hung up wet. There was no major body damage but the engine was locked up. I pulled the sensors and R specific parts I could for my own personal back-up. It was a good day. The north PaP normally has a few SRs in it a year, but like I said, I haven't seen much of anything good in a long time.
