Hey guys the white car still has a the tranny in place. The seats, and valve cover are gone. The rear brakes are still on it though.

I didn't take a look at the red car today. I'm not sure what is left.

Also there is a 1990 Eagle Talon AWD on the lot. It was put there on thursday. I scored a six bolt block . The axles, transmission, transfer case, and rear diff unit are still there.

^When did you go? I was there around 11am or so.

Row 103 I think, the red one has no trans, the cv's were hangning down, inside trashed, didnt pay attention to rest of the suspension.

Update:
Row 86 2 new GA16's/auto's came in, 86 manual win but tons of parts inside, both had trans and all suspen. One has a clean body, nice fenders the other is "rough"
Row 82 GA16/auto, tons parts left, body "ok"
Row 79 GA16/5 spd parts left, and plenty others
Row 110 the white car like Trackjunky82 said has the trans but tons of stuff on it. its close to the front! LOL, kinda nice with the blistering heat

No new G20's. 200sx or 240's ....

I was there on friday 1-5, then on saturday I went again 8am-11. The heat just saps your energy away. It took me much longer than I expected to remove the block from the talon.

Some things that I learned if anybody ever wants to remove a block without using the Giant engine hoist device they have at the yard. I couldn't figure out the pulley system on it, maybe it was broken. Take a 2X4 , some chain, source a used tire, and some wheels with tires.

I built a stack with the tires to support the block. I bolted the chain to the front and rear of the block. Once the block was loose I placed my feet on the subframes and stood directly above the block. This gave me a good position to lift the block using the chain I bolted in place. Once the block was resting on the stack of tires and free from the transmission I placed the 2X4 in place underneath the chain. The 2X4 was there to support the block as I removed a wheel from the stack. Once the block was resting firmly in place after the wheel removal I went ahead and loosened the chain by several links in order to allow the block to drop a bit with the removal of the next wheel in the stack. I repeated the removal of the wheels until the block was just resting on the tire. Once the block was on the ground I just wiggled it out from underneath the car.

Blocks are frigging heavy so get the guy driving around in the John Deere and tell him you need help getting the block to the front of the yard.

Also If you guys are going to be out there for a while during this hot Atlanta summer. Take some change with you so you can get a gatorade or a snack from the snack machines. Laying out there is a quick way to get dehydrated and possibly suffer heat stroke.

The gator guy has water and cups, ya just flag him down and stops. I also carry a water bottle with me. I was there right about 11 and was exhausted after about 2 hours in the sun. I need to get there early and try to finish by 11. You had the plan!

Ok So it must be b13 Sr20 year at Pull apart.

North Lot:

THe Red Se-R, and White Se-R are still there. Surprisingly nobody has pulled the trans off the white car, and its been there quite a bit.

There is a Black 92 NX2k on the lot since 07/28/2010. It's a T-top. Engine and trans are still in the car. It has 196,000 miles on the odometer. The radiator is still in it, but it does not look like the thick NX radiator. THe front brakes are also still on it but they don't look like standard AD22's. ECU is still in the car. Interior is kinda beat up. Rear disc brakes are still on it. THe axles are aftermarket units. The boots still look to be in good shape. The car is a non abs version. The front spoiler is missing the middle section, so basically fubar. It has a red hood. I can't remember about the rest of the body panels but the car is not smashed. THe only heavy body damage I was able to spot was a broken rear side window(passenger side). I didn't spot any heavy rust on the body. I know for sure one fog lamp is still good. I can't remember if both of them were still good though. THis one has power windows.

There is a 95 G20 right next to the NX2k. ITs a non lsd five speed, and the low port in it is still intact. The engine did look really dirty though. I'm thinking it must have been oozing oil from somewhere. It has 200k miles and from the looks of the exterior of the engine it will probably need a rebuild.

As for the other sr20's. THere is a high port Sr20 long block laying on the gravel ready to be picked up. Its from one of the G20's on the lot.

The Red Se-R still has the engine in its bay. Somebody has taken the valve cover and the injectors. Rust has started to build on the cams. The engine is still complete though minus the valvecover.

The white se-r still has its engine in place. THis one is also missing the valve cover. The cams are starting to get surface rust. The rest of the motor is still all there.

South Lot:

THere is a White 1992 NX2k T-Top fresh on the lot. It was put there on 07/29/2010. The car has 173,705 miles on the odometer. I pulled the radiator, the ad22's, the master cylinder, the front spoiler, and the left side skirt. The paint on this one is dull. The body is for the most part still straight. I think the front bumper is still good enough to be reused. It's just worn and the paint is dull. The passenger fender is banged up, the hood is also banged up in that area. The driver side fender looks like it can still be used. The hatch looks like it can be reused. I did see rust in the spare tire well, so I'm thinking there was a water leak back there. This one did have rusty fasteners so I'm thinking a former coastal car, or a northern car. I didn't spot an rust on the rear strut towers, or near the door hinges so this is more evidence for the southern coastal car theory. The ECU is gone. The engine and transmission are still on the car. The drivers axle looks like a factory unit, the passenger axle looks like an aftermarket unit. The struts look to still be original nissan units. The rear disc brakes are still on the car. I left the Ad22 rotors on it. Maybe somebody wants to pick them up. The dash is cracked so it is no good. I think the carpet on the car is still in good shape. It was still nice and dark. The seats have some worn/torn spots, but there are no heavy stains. This car has power windows.

There is a Biege 93 G20 with the engine and manual non-lsd transmission still in place. The car has 173,834 miles on the odometer. It still has the Infiniti valve cover so I'm thinking this one might be the original engine.

There is a 91 G20 fresh on the lot. It has an intact high port sr20de still in it. The car is automatic. The engine has a nissan valvecover on it, so the engine must be a replacement for the original.

East Lot:

There are no SR20 vehicles there at the moment. Plenty of GA16 b13's, and b14's. The Q45's that I looked at had the injectors already removed. It seems like the Q45 injectors are always taken before I get to a lot, lol.

Ok so that is the current junkyard report. I Hit up all three lots today, just to see what was available. I hit a b13 Jackpot with that white NX2k

^ North Lot NX2K pic

I pulled some sensors from it, lotsa good parts left, hatch needs supports but looks great. Rear area has carpet and trim, as TrackJunky said the rest of the inside is beat up. I didnt see a spot of rust, I also checked the vin and its a local southern car. Actually Gwinnett Co. since last year, past emissions! LOL not sure why or how it ended up there at the salvage yard, sad really. Oh, another guy pulled the A/C comp off it I just remembered that.

That G20 next too it had a rough looking motor indeed! Nasty!

I will be at the south lot later this week for work so I'll check it mid week.

THe white Se-R, and Black NX in Norcross still have their transmissions. THe white NX in Conley still had its transmission as of this past friday.

I've looked at the engine harnesses on the White Se-R, and the Black NX and they don't look all that great. I'm talking about the ECU harness + Starter Harnesses. The alternator harness on the Black NX is gone. The starter harness on the Red Se-R gone.

As for the White NX I left the the alternator harness in the trunk. One wire on it needs repair so I decided not to take it. I did take the ECU harness however.

Hey guys I was over at the south and east lots today.

East Lot: 3 G20's all automatics. A 93,94,and 95. The two lowports are at around 200k miles. The highport in the 93 has a nissan valvecover on it. It was probably swapped in. There is oil residue underneath the valve cover on the high port so I'm thinking it was leaking. The headcode on the highport is 8L.

South Lot: The transmission, axles, and front hubs are gone on the white NX2k. The engine is mostly complete, it's resting on the gravel ready to be picked up. The head code on the NX2k motor is 4R. I grabbed the feed/return fuel lines, and the throttle cable. The cruise control cable is still available.
