Can you tint the back of my Z06 without it looking bad? Nobody will touch it...got it tinted one and it look perfect except for where the dots are. Then I got the guy who did it to re do it and it still looks the same. He tints coast to coast for Bently and a few others. But if you can do better Ill pay you!

ah ,, is this a trick question? lol ..

I can tint your Z06 and it will look fantastic! but what your dealing with is dot matrix and there's nothing we can do for it,,, It is what it is... I hate to put it like that but unfortunately we can only do so much with the dots.

there are a few things we can do...just keep in mind it's not full proof,.

one is sanding the dots,,, it's not a full cure but it will help the film stick also if you sand enough the film will fill in the area in between the dots making it look a little better... but if you ask me it sucks,,, LOL

and here's another way we can approach it,, Black vinyl , the adhesive is much thicker and the black vinyl blocks all the light making the clear (glass) area look BLACK through out the dots,,, this looks the best from the outside, inside your rear window will appear smaller from the rear view mirror because you can't see through like tint (top of window ,only where the vinyl is applied),,

and to the answer of do I think I can do a better job ,,,, well .. if it's my day it's my day!!! if not what can I say,,, window tinting is not a perfect task in any way and neither are window tinter's ,, we are good at what we do and speaking for myself I really enjoy doing what I do for a living.. I tint every car as if it was mine without a second thought...

I have a few solutions that I can do for you on your ride and I know I can make you happy with anything I do for you..

I hope I have answered your question and if you want to give me a shot ,, just let me know!!

thanks

Tearoffguy has tinted many of my vehicles over the years.
I don't know about your guy that goes"coast to coast" but Laryy is one picky mofo...and he really knows his stuff.
I can even begin to guess how many cars a year he tints. Anyway,I have always been happy with the results.
I would take him up on the offer if hes coming your way.

Larry came by yesterday to tint my P10. I went with the legal limit here in TN on all my windows (35% +/- 3%). Larry verified what he put on the car with a light meter after he was all said and done and it turned out right at 32% after the film and the factory coating that was on there. I was thoroughly impressed with his work, especially in such a cold environment and having no garage to tint in. The car looks amazing and I can't wait for it to fully cure so I can play with my windows on a regular basis.

I'm posting from my CrackBerry so pictures will come later, but if any of you are on the fence about having this done to your car, get off and give Larry a call!
