Thread: Enough Is F#$&ing Enough!!!!!

As of today, I MAXIMUS shall declare WAR on the non-driving, non-considerate, no common sense having, cellphone conversing MORONIC DRIVERS OF ATL!!!! My road rage has gotten to unbelievable levels as of late and the ATL G's have witnessed the attempts I've been making to ease my roadrage. But it seems that no matter how hard you try to respectfully inform people to have some road courtesy and move over to the right if they're hoggin the left lane......they simply DONT GIVE A FLYIN FECES!!!!

So, you guys remember this? The attempt by some Georgia State students to show how ridiculous the low 55MPH speed limit is and how dangerous it can be to drive that slow:



So now, I'm going to build on that idea hopefully with the help of the ATL G's and sr20-forum peeps. I plan on having a caravan of folks HOGGING the leftlane of our I-85 AND going 45 (the slowest you can drive by law here is 40mph). But I dont plan on making this a 1 day thing like the GSU students, this is going to be a weekly thing so that we get noticed big time by our mayor and governor!

You guys REALLY dont understand how ALLERGIC I get to peeps that REFUSE to see that for the sake of safety and free flowing traffic that the leftlane should not be occupied like they do here. Let me know who's on board please if you're in the ATL area, and of course, you dont have to have a G or some other sr20 type car to be a part of this event. Some of you may be laughing at this and saying: "That Max is crazy!"........and you may be right, but like most normal human beings, I cannot tolerate stupidity any longer after I've hit my limit. i feel your pain bud. i use to hate when i would have to go into or out (or both:mad of our ATL terminal during rush hour. which as you know...rush hour in ATL is from 6am-9pm.

I've just called my reporter at the Atlanta Journal Constitution about this, and he's getting ready to cover this event.

People can't afford $15 hands free sets?? I know it's crazy. I get pissed off when someone has the right of way and they make a COMPLETE stop and next thing you know they are on the phone.

Yeah being allowed to drive with a cell in your hand is stupid. I see it every single damn day over here in GA. Its not allowed in NY. WHy GA still allows it I don't know. Should be outlawed. A lot of GA drivers are overly aggressive or just plain clueless. I hope they pass a no cellphone law down here, it would help with the dumb accidents that occur on a day to day basis.

I think Georgia will be close to the top in insurance premiums within the next decade. Bad driving habits coupled with a huge population increase will not be a good thing.


I moved down from metro NY and I didn't ever think I would see worse driving anywhere else. I figured since its so congested up there and all that it couldn't get worse then that. Unfortunately I was wrong.

I don't think a hands free set is going to solve the problem. I forget who did it, but it was a nationwide statistic, in that commuters using cellphones, regardless of whether it was bluetooth, wireless, wired, etc, generally paid less attention to driving, and drove on average 3~4mph slower than the posted speed limits, and in the faster lanes.

The problem is simply using cellphones while driving, regardless of how you're using it.

Or installing train horns on your vehicle of choice pulling up to the side and going WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
