Thread: Proposed dates for MidTN Meet, Fall 09??

I doubt I'll drive up for this one with Halloween being Saturday night.

No problem, I don't expect a huge turnout, just wanted to get an autocross in before the year's end.

And I thought it would be convenient/cool if we made the autocross kind of a meet. I say kind of, because there's not much time to hang out, except during runs.

Is there any type of shelter if it rains? I'm in either way.

I'll bring an umbrella..seriously, that's all there is, unless you count the speedway stands for a quick shelter.

I'm sure they don't run if its a constant downpour.

It's now showing no rain for sunday so we should be good either way. I was just wanting to go ahead and have something else in mind in case it did rain.

Will I need to pay to get in? I've never been to anything like that before, but I know at the dragstrip you have to pay to get in and watch lol.

so thats $35 for non members... Does a student discount apply to non-members? Does it matter what class I'm in?

I'd be nice to pound that red thing out around a track and see what all it really needs before I park it for the winter. That way I know what to work on. I'll be working three jobs through the winter at least, so I'll have some cash for the spring. If I'm not dumb with it, as usual

When is the meet? Im trying to make plans to bring drinks... But I am lost. I have no clue what the plan is or what we are doing. Louis pm me something and I can pick that engine stand up while im there.
