Thread: newb looking for a good mechanic local to atlanta

hi everybody, this is my first thread here; i've been lurking for about 6 months now and recently bought r0b_'s nx2000 a couple of months ago. i've been really busy with work and other things, hadn't been able to do much with it yet. i just went to get the emissions tested on it and failed horribly. (not surprising considering how many modifications it's had) both HC and CO% are many times the maximum allowed (3 to 7 times!)

i'm definitely not one who's done much work on cars, probably the hardest thing i've done is change my alternator. (on a 96 altima) i'm definitely in need of a good mechanic anywhere between woodstock/roswell (where the rents live) and lawrenceville/duluth. (where i live)

i'm not really a member of the "community" here yet but i look forward to becoming more of one. rob did all the engine work, and i'm looking forward on getting the body painted/fixed up, etc. i want this baby to look good.
