Would it be possible to allow the nitrous fuel compensation table to decrease fuel? Right now it only can add fuel.

It's "possible". I'll ask John about how and why we might do it.

One reason I can think of off the top of my head is to allow for meth/water injection control.

I'm using the nitrous trims to retard ignition in first and second gear to gain traction.

However with less timing the car is running slightly rich.

This is doable, however one consequence is that it would reduce the maximum positive fuel compensation from 2.99 to 1.99. The maximum fuel reduction factor would be -1.99.

Is that a large enough compensation for most applications?
What is the largest compensation factor you are currently using?

I'm not actually using nitrous so I don't use the fuel compensation tables at all currently.

I am using the nitrous ignition trims to pull ignition in the lower gears because my car is spinning tires on wastegate boost pressure.

@D-Unit121 wouldn't you be better off using the EBC setup then? Reduced power is reduced power. It shouldn't matter if its 1lb or 2lb on the boost or 5 degrees timing. Setup the boost by gear and you can adjust the needed boost per 1000 RPM.

I am allready using boost by gear. I am running gate pressure in the lower gears and still have spinning issues. With an EBC you can not run lower then gate pressure.

Sounds like swapping out springs is an easier solution than rewriting software. Do you have an external wastegate? Have you tried decreasing fuel in the WOT range on the fuel map?

These are all good solutions, but for my set up right now none of this will work for me.

I am using the lowest pressure wastegate that I can (7psi)

All of my fuel/igniton (set 2 and alt) maps are allready used for other functions.
