Here is a little screen shot of how the new SA version is coming along!

I like the progress on this. Can't wait to get the new version.

Here is a sneak peak at the new map tracing that will be released with the SA version.

It uses either an oval (shown here) or a rectangle, your choice to pinpoint the exact location of the map that the current fuel/ignition map is using.

It also uses a trace "tail" which shows the last 8 frame locations as the tracer moves around. This is nice for realtime map tracing.

This style map tracing has shown to drastically increase map tracing speed and hence will allow for more frames per second when logging, which means more resolution!

man it looks like im going to have to completely rework my tune to use the map sensor, or will i?

Yes, you definitely will.

It is a completely different firmware and from the results I have had so far, even on the MAF sensor the car runs great. So, in the end I believe you will be happy with the results!

cool, is it difficult to get a base going? or will there be some sorta of feature to assist in gettin the afr's dialed in an such?

i've been having a hell of a time getting my car dialed in for some reason.

Thats why im waiting to turn the boost up and dyno tune mine. Cant wait for the 20x20 maps.

On another note, i like the new 3d graphs with wire frame option, but the trace on it is a bit hard to see. Could there be a moving dot instead of the slightly darker lines on the frame?

yea with bein strapped for cash for gas an with the changes coming up i haven't been doin much tuning, basically just the cruise area up to 0psi. i'll prolly wait until the new stuffs released to do any more then that for now.

I had my car up in running in about 30 seconds on the new firmware and on speed density. The great thing about speed density is that there is no conversion to TP for the load scale.. you basically set it and forget it for the most part.

I am working on getting a good base speed density map to start with for n/a, which can then be easily scaled for a boosted car.

The new version implements a feature that is called "Boost Comp". It is pretty similar to what AEM does and allows you to add a percentage of fuel based on a load value that is separate from the fuel maps.

This should make tuning the fuel much quicker for a boosted car and will allow for greater low end map resolution (finer tuning ability for low load/rpm).

The 3d graphing is a 3rd party plugin that I am currently using and they are apparently working on a better way of highlighting a selection in the graph.

There isn't much I can do in that regard, but I will integrate it as soon as they have it available!

Here is a example of the new wire frame graphing. This is a graph of an AlphaN fuel map that I am using on my B14 test car.
