Thread: Getting old join dates moved over here?

Can this be done and also somehow get our seller rating over here too. I understand how we don't have the itrading system yet.

I plan to get some kind of system like iTrader. I do not plan to move over post counts. That would be a full time job trying to do all 700+ members.

I dont care about post count, but I think that our old join dates should be there. I entered the sr20 community when I joined in Oct. 2002

What if the users were allowed to modify their join date? Only allow this for like a week, and then disable it.

It would be nice to be able to move over the iTrader, but that one would be more difficult...

IMO this is a new site so modifying the join date is not really relevant. If people want to represent how long they've been in the SR community, they should do it the way they've always done it; through quality posting and real contributions.

There are other creative ways to represent your everlasting dedication to all things SR related.

Let's be honest here, this place wouldn't exist unless the sr20forum existed so I think the 5+ years of membership means something and does to others too. I doubt all 700 users would want their "original" join date moved over here, just the guys with years joined and around the SR20 scene.

I could care less about post counts, just the time in sorta speak.

Edit, it doesn't really matter and if it's not going to happen just close or delete this thread. This whole sr20forum deal has got me e-bummed about forums right now anyway and not too eager to post and contribute.
