When is the search feature going to work again? Sorry if this has been asked (I tried to search LOL )

Search won't be implemented right away. It's a complicated feature that I'd like to get right when I spend the time to do it.
In the meantime, you can search the site using your search engine of choice. Here's an example:

I've been working on the forum trying to get the complicated BBC stuff (for example, the VIDEO tag) to work but it's being a total bitch. This is the third time I've tried to attempt it in so many months. If you experience pages that don't load, or other weird errors, it's because I'm working on this. Bear with me please. I'll try to keep the outages short and far between.

Edit: I think I just cracked the problem, so there shouldn't be any more outages or errors while I work on it. We can expect to have new and improved BBC stuff working soon. For now, I'm taking a break to go get dinner and such.

Ben: How high are instant email subscriptions on your list? Would make life much easier for a lot of threads/for sale posts heh .

As someone who turns off subscriptions the moment I sign up for a forum, they aren't that high on my list. But that doesn't mean they can't move up if people want them sooner.
Right now I'm sitting down to write some good BBC parsers so the more complicated tags will work. That will transition nicely IMO to getting notifications working (for PMs and mentions).
After that, I'd think Likes and notifications for those likes would be next.
I think those features are daily things that really hurt to be without.

I may have written down priority lists before in this thread, but right now this is how I see it going since I'm working on more of what I want to tackle, versus what might be the most important (like search, which is most important I know, but such a huge undertaking).

Keep bugging me and I'll see what I can do.

I'm making progress on processing VIDEO tags. For now, I'm only working on getting YouTube video tags to work. If I come across other ones that should work, I'll get them working when I find them.
There are many ways to link to a YouTube video, so I'm going to post all of the ones I know about here. As I get them working, you should see the example VIDEO code tag, and then below it should be an embedded YouTube video (instead of the video tag repeated).

As someone who doesn't frequent the forum nearly as much I think Subscriptions should be up there with core functionality. Especially when I forget that I have active open for sale threads even when I browse the forum (I missed questions dating back to march!) I also have a lot of tech/how to threads that are in sections that I rarely browse to unless there is someone asking a question, so not knowing when someone asked a question can be a bit of a pain.

I think a simple instant reply notification (with new message in the email) would be sufficient for now, then way down the road daily aggregates etc.

Also I personally don't think email notifications for likes are a must, but it popping up in Notification drop down towards the top would be sufficient.
