Thank you for the praise and encouragement. It really helps while I'm here in the salt mines...
So much left to do!

Update

I noticed an issue with duplicate avatars (users with no avatars were showing the avatar of the user a few IDs before their own). This happened because of a mix-up during the unplanned data migration earlier in the month. It's an easy fix, and we've now gone from 2,762 avatars in the system to 1,784 which should be correct. About ~1,000 duplicates were removed while re-seeding the avatars from the original forum database.

Next up, I will be fixing a bug involving the mini-pagination feature. Right now it doesn't take users to the correct page of a thread, it only brings the user to the first page.
For example, view the "New Posts" and find a thread with multiple pages. Click page #2 or higher and it will actually bring you to page #1.

Update

I got the mini-pagination fixed. Now when choosing a page from a list of threads you will be taken to that page of the thread, instead of the first page of that thread. =]

I plan on making more good progress in the next couple days, so watch for that. I know there are major features left to implement, and I will get to them. I actually plan on making a big list of them so I can cross them off.
However, I'm going to take a break from the tough new stuff and instead maybe work on some simpler things like maybe get quotations to look the way they are supposed to, or maybe work on getting most of the emoji working, or other things like that. Maybe I'll see about getting the "Remember Me" feature to actually work when you log in, or maybe I'll make sure URLs in posts get auto-detected and turned into hyperlinks...

Stay tuned.

Update

As it turns out, I got the itch to work on the links to individual posts. That feature was not in place before this morning. I finished working on that just now and am heading out to lunch.

The link at the top-right of each post that shows the post number will now properly route to that post. It shouldn't matter how many posts per page a user displays either, they should be taken to the correct post regardless. Old links to specific posts will also work once the domain name is transferred over.

This means that the section summaries and search result summaries will also link properly to the last post of the thread. Maybe you never used it, but I use that feature a bunch. You'll recognize it by this image:

We'll see what I tackle next...

Thanks buddy.

Now that links to individual posts work, I can update the way new posts work. Right now making a new post redirects to the "New Posts" search page after the post is submitted. This was only temporary.
Now that links to specific posts work, I can redirect users to their new post immediately after they've made it.

I'm working on that now actually, and this is the first post to test it out.

Test #1 to see if new posts redirect to themselves.

Okay, well that didn't exactly work.

Test #2 to see if new posts redirect to themselves.

Third time is a charm?

Test #3 to see if new posts redirect to themselves.

Update

I just finished updating where users are redirected after making a post. Now when a user makes a new post, they are immediately directed to that new post instead of being sent to the "New Posts" search page (that was only temporary until I could get this to work).

I like this a lot better than the way the old forum worked too! It's SO much faster, and I never liked that intermediary screen we used to have.

Now to decide what to update next...

Not sure if you noticed yet or not... 2 things i notice are the start date of a post is the same as the last post dste and time, and that the number on multiple page threads are small on the page you're on and large on the ones you're not on.

Appreciate all the work you've put in and love the snappyness response to clicks.

Ps.. the quick reply box doesnt scroll. Im on a mobile browser.
