I have split up the classifieds for Audio and Electronics into In Car Entertaintment and Tuning respectively. I've also clarififed what belongs in each section.

I'm also preparing to rename the other sections.

This is not perfect. There are plenty of items or combinations of items people sell that don't fit perfectly into one category or another. Without going nuts on organization, we're just going to have to live with this. For the most part, it works well.
If I've moved a thread of yours just now, it's because I'm trying to get things where they belong. A bunch of stuff got moved from the Forced Induction classifieds to the new Tuning classifieds section. Some DET engine block component sales got moved out to the OEM Parts section. It can be really hard to decide if something belongs in the OEM section or not... I actually don't like the OEM section, because it is so encompasing. As I'm talking about it right now, I wonder if I should change the description of it to say that OEM parts belong there if they don't belong anywhere else.

Either way, I'm working on this and ask that you please be patient while I move some threads around. When the dust settles, if you think one of your threads belongs somewhere else, please let me know and we'll work it out.

I'm seeing a lot of issues where some items almost belong in the Forced Induction section but also really belong in the OEM Parts section.
I will be changing the OEM Parts section to say that items belong there only if they don't better belong somewhere else. This means DET engines or DET internals can stay in the Forced Induction section where they probably belong and I'm sure most sellers and buyers would expect to find them. Same goes for DET oil pumps and oil pans and such.

It does make me think that maybe we could use a Classifieds - Engines section where whole engines, accessories, longblocks, shortblocks, heads, cams, pistons, oil pumps, oil pans, and other stuff like that could go...
But that's probably a can of worms I want to avoid right now. For now I'll keep the DET engine stuff in the Forced Induction section (which means I need to move back some threads).

I am done fucking around with the classifieds and moving threads. Most of you probably noticed your sale thread(s) got moved somewhere, and then moved back to where it/they started. I'm sorry for the trouble. Hopefully it wasn't too confusing.
For those of you who did have a thread moved and it stayed there, hopefully it is in the right place now. If you've read the new descriptions of each section and you believe your thread is not in the right place then just let me know.

The rest of the work I'm doing is simple subforum renaming so that should be painless.

Well, there was way too much battery relocation and alternator and cut-off switch talk in the Audio and Electronics tech section to be able to fully rename it. A lot of the stuff in there doesn't belong in Tuning, so I simply renamed it to In Car Entertainment and General Electronics (Audio, video, alarms, batteries, alternators, cut-off switches, etc.)

Not perfect, but it will have to do.

I'm going to quit while I'm ahead and let things settle down and see if anything needs tweaking. After all this, at least now we have a good spot to sell gauges and sensors and whatnot without filling up the forced induction section with it. And a lot of the sections have more explanatory subtitles which should help people decide what belongs where.
