Thread: Server outages.

The past couple weeks we've seen three significant server outages for the forum. I'm sorry about that. I had no control over the situation.

The first time was an attempt to upgrade PHP on the server which went wrong and had to be reverted. The next two times just seem to be Apache hiccups which may be leftover issues from the total RAID array failure back in May. Crim is considering resetting up the server from scratch or thereabouts to dust off the cobwebs as it were.

hmmm, perhaps a cronjob ran script of some sort which checks for an outage and tries to auto-resolve the failure (if it's re-occuring and the same issue each time)?
