It looks like @Crim was able to fix the e-mail issue today. I've been talking with him on IM and all the tests are looking good now. As some of you may have noticed, a whole bunch of backlogged e-mails were sent out. Crim stopped a lot of them from going out because he didn't want people to get flooded with a bazillion old e-mails, but you still might have gotten some.

E-mails should be working again now. Most importantly, new member registration e-mails, forgotten password e-mails, subscription e-mails, and everything else should be fixed.

Let us know if you have any trouble with e-mails in the next couple days.

Kyle can you describe this problem a bit better? I don't use the Post Spy functionality very often. Can you confirm it's still broken, and describe a bit better how it used to work, versus how it is behaving now?

Like an auto-refresh?

That's what I'm thinking... I've been leaving the page up in a tab to see if it will show me new stuff. I've had the tab open for about an hour now. I'll see if it registers this post.

Edit: Yep, this post showed up. I'm not sure how long it takes to time out, but I'll leave it open over night and see what happens.

Ring-a-round the rosey?

Edit: The issue was new posts would no longer refresh on the top by itself. I would have to hit F5 in order to view new entries when before it would keep on refreshing so if I left a page open for a few hours, I could simply flip to the spy and view all new and current posts. I have no idea what the timeout was before, but the broken one would not last an hour I do not remember the refreshes coming in that often that I stopped using the function.

It's been working on my end for hours now. I'm going to mark this one fixed.

It's still working after leaving it overnight.

Since two of the three issues here have been fixed, I'm moving this thread to my "fixed" pile.

The chatbox refresh issue is such a hard thing to pin down (and frankly, it's never worked otherwise for me) so I'm not even creating a new issue for it. If others want to, please do so.

In summary, please open a new thread to discuss issues. And please, one thread per issue please so I can stay organized. This thread has 3 issues in it. No bueno.
