There is a purple box that is highlighted. "Instant messaging". Then in black text it says message that member, there are no icons, no pressable links. Nothing. This is using my phones defult web browser. I'd screen shot it but I do not have that app.

@Topdog781, I'm finally getting around to giving this some serious attention.
I've installed a user agent switcher on my browser, and when I visit the forum with an iPhone user agent I am able to see the mobile version of the site.
I see exactly what the problem is. The mobile site hides the entire left-navigation bar which holds the PM links. It defaults to showing the "About Me" profile page which happens to have a "Contact" section.
That contact section in the full version of the site has IM client links (like AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, MSN Messsenger, etc.) but the mobile application doesn't show you those links.

I have a question for you.

Would you like the IM client links to show up? Or would you like links to be able to PM (private message) and e-mail members?
I'm guessing you want a link to PM forum members?
Or do you need all options described above?

If I don't hear back, I'll just assume you want them in this priority: PM link > e-mail link > IM client links

Okay @Topdog781 I have done my best without having access to the server files.
I've removed the crap about instant messaging, because it doesn't look like I'm going to get those to work.
But I think you were most interested in getting a link to PM the user, so I've added in that link.
I've also added the link to send an e-mail, but that doesn't work on the mobile version of the site so clicking it just prompts you to use the full site.

Give it a test and see what you think. I believe you will be happy with the results.
