I would love to see the ability to put down a check mark next to more than one name...
I was thinking about this myself. I am on the fence about it, though. Whatever is decided, multiple votes or just one vote, it should be the same for evey member. Meaning, you either vote for one member or vote for 3 members (or whatever the limit is set at). This way, the voting remains balanced.

I agree! Where do you pick your potatoes for your chips? You should try some PEI potatoes!

I've seen (unfortunately) some forums almost totally ruined by a few 'bad seeds' who developed 'god complexes' in being moderators but those people stay moderators because of some sort of connection to the board owner (relative, friend, etc.)... I've completely left 2 forums over the years because of this fact actually. Others I just stopped being as active.
Well said. It is nice to see things being done outside of the padded room. Hopefully the end result is a positive one, as each new idea opens the door to other possible complications. This should be a positive though, I think..

I've never really understood the moderator to member bickering. Maybe it's because I have never had to deal with it myself but at the end of the day, it's just a car forum (and a great one at that!!). People should not be loosing sleep over things that go on here, except maybe an administrator who has responsibilities and choices to make that affect the entire membership as a whole.
Your point about being voted in to moderatorship and thus having a sense of responsibility to the end user is a very valid point.
Vadim, have you put thought into whether or not the voting choices will be visible to the membership? As in, people can see who everybody has voted for? Maybe that is not even possible with the template you will use, especially if deciding to allow multiple votes? Visible voting choices might make for hurt feelings....
