Here we have the image insert tab
[img][IMG]http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f310/93specv/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps312d5a9a.jpg[/img]

Here we have a link posted for submission

Here we see a 2nd [img] generated on its own after tapping "ok" in the last image. If someone doesn't notice or know how to go back and edit it remains as you see here at the top of the first image and bottom of the third image (I inserted all 3 links at once and didn't remove the additional [IMG]).

And yes I'm currently working from a phone but it does it from my laptop as well, and always has from my PC back in 2005 when first joining the OG forum. But again, just a kink. No major operational issue by far.

There's your problem, right here:

You're putting in your own IMG tags. Why would you do that? If you're copying and pasting from a source that already gives you IMG tags, then don't use the image insertion button. Just paste the text in the post and call it a day. You don't HAVE to use the image insertion button to put an image in a post. All it does is wrap the image URL in IMG tags. But you've already done that, so you don't need to do it again.

Yes, I've seen plenty of instances where people don't use IMG tags properly. But that's just it, it's user error IMO.

I don't see an issue with moving the threads into OffTopic proper and getting rid of the section.

This new "New Posts" behavior is wasting lots of time for me. I tried to live with it, but it is still causing me issues after a month or two so I'm bringing it up.
It needs to behave like it used to (or maybe we need a new link called "Recent Posts"?). It should show me recent posts INCLUDING ones I've just read or just posted to. I want to see RECENT posts.

@Vadim. I also have a small stack of changes I'd like to see, but I'm holding off adding to your pile.

I haven't changed anything, maybe Cliff did something? I did notice new posts acting differently.

It was applied at least a month ago, maybe two?
It started when the new posts list got that new separation that says:
"The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts.".
