Thanks...

Another side thought - have the trans sections include flywheel, clutch & C/V's ?

Just a thought.

Should I just rename it to Driveline then? To encompass transmission, clutch, flywheel and axles. Suspension and brakes would be different still imo.

That would be your call. For me as I do automotive for a living that makes sense - however to someone who does not may make it more confusing.

Personally, I would sort the categories/sections in the same order that they are in the FSM or FAST - however sorting in alphabetical may be simpler for others.

If going via FSM would be something like:
GI - General Info
MA - Maintenance
...
MT - Manual Trans
AT - Auto Trans
FA - Front Axle
RA - Rear Axle
BR - Brake System
ST - Steering System
....
Etc... Etc...

In a technical area my thought is by having it the same as the FSM it makes it easier for users to find in the FSMs and more so to ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO READ THEIR FSM.

STATUS: Happy I don't have to make this decision.

Vadim, it looks good the way you have it now! The addition of the Driveline section, as well as the changes to the Tech section, are great additions.

I would be cautious about creating too many new sections and/or changing the format too much. I have been on other forums where there are more sections then I can count (on the cover page) and it only makes me want to come back to this forum. The simplicity of this forum is one of its great advantages!

Agreed - thou focusing on what we work on most is ideal... A/C and windows etc not worth while.

@LAM-PARK I have to agree with @B15NEOVVL honestly, Because Front/Rear Suspension falls under one section realistically, Auto and Manual should be under one section too.
