Well I just checked, and clicking "Advanced Search" took me to the Search Single Content Type tab by default. THIS IS EXCELLENT, and exactly what we wanted! Please don't change it back!

Did you make an error in your description?

I didn't think it would populate the advanced search feature, but it has and it's fine to leave as-is.

Thread views and comments counter for quick links/subscribed threads.

Now after reading this whole thread with a lot of talk about the manifesto, I don't have ideas to make it "better" but maybe y'all will get some through my experience? Last year I was searching for the write-up about cable to hydraulic clutch conversion without any luck. I started a thread to inquire when someone suggested to comb the manifesto. I never found it. Although I DID find Vadims thread which ultimately cured my 4+ year idle issue :-)

And per my previous post, I'd still like to see a "how many views" counter when utilizing subscribed threads via quick links 👍

Got a link to another site as an example?

Would a link to a different section in this forum work? Or you need to see it on another vBulletin forum to get the idea? If the latter, I'm of no help.

Cliff, I do not. If you're simply inquiring a visual aid I could create one using screen shots and a split screen edit. To maybe better clarify though, if I wasn't previously clear for understanding, say you enter the turbo section. Each individual thread shows a number for how many comments and how many times the thread has been viewed. Now if you go up to the "quick links" tab and enter "subscribed threads," it shows all the threads you've started or posted in, or otherwise subscribed to. This list doesn't show how many times each thread you're subscribed to has been commented in or viewed. Dunno bout anyone else but that's something I'd like to see.

here's one that has always been a kink since even back on the OG forum- any way to drop the additional generated [img] code when posting a linked picture?[/img]

Which editor are you using? Standard, Enhanced, or WYSIWYG?[/img]

When inserting a link to post a picture I've always had to remove an additional [img] when the link is then submitted to my post. It's really no big deal to "backspace" a few times to remove the duplicate text from the beginning and end of the link, just figured I'd toss it out here for discussion. And I've seen it SO MANY times when others post pictures but they don't remove the duplicate...there's then a [IMG] at the top left and bottom right of the image they posted.[/img]
