Nope. The shoutbox is nothing more than javascript. Most content filtering hardware blocks websites based on their category or keywords in the meta.


It could look for the shoutbox code within html? Reason I wonder about this is because it's a chat program and stuff like that would probably be blocked by a work filter.

Would possibly explain we he gets blocked only on login as he can access the site logged out and the shoutbox isn't there.
@speedricer: you should try it just to amuse my theory.

Eureka!!! It works now. I dont know if you guys did anything or if websense got the message, but I just tried and it logged me in without a hitch........the level of excitement I have becuz of this makes me realize, i'm on this forum WAYY to much lol

9 times out of 10, websites are categorized by crawlers and fed into a database. It has to do with how the domain and site are initially set up.
