Thread: Why is the server going down every few weeks all of a sudden?

Kinda hard to put into graphical terms quickly...

Lets just say that from October 1 to November 1, there were on average 675 users active per day. That is not "unique traffic hits", that is actual content delivery.

Meant traffic as in bytes (like the task manager in windows shows)

bandwidth is unlimited, flat rate(essentially included in server costs). server costs range from $60-$500. I'd guess this server they are using costs around $100/month or less.

Server owner could provide you a graph, but it'd prob be for the entire server not just our forum.

btw, you could run this forum on a dedicated/virtual server for at or less than $60/month and still have a lot of more space for hosting other stuff.

the server runs $200/mo, or $2400/yr.

We use on average 360GB a month, or a little over 10gb of traffic a day.
