site is def. slower now, it's not going to be like the old one where it takes an hour to search for something is it??

I have noticed a minor slowdown at work as well. Here are home, seems to not be affected.

Ive not noticed a slowdown, maybe on dial-up.

Mine is still the same speed. Walmart connection? lol and no not on every page that would bother the shiet out of me! Maybe a separate window for the chat? Like linked, and when you click it opens a mini window? idk i doubt ill even be using it haha. Can you imagine this is gonna be the first place new members go to for a quick (already answered) question

I was having no issues before.

I don't notice any difference at all.

Ok I was on this morning and all was good. Said I'd be back when drunk, just tried, and damnit I can't do it lol. This morning things scrolled upward so when new posts were made it showed them. Now it's scrolling down, and as each new post is made it automatically goes to the top. Too drunk to try and scroll back and forth and keep up drunk conversation.

And yes the entire forum is slower for me too, I mentioned that this morning. I have cable internet as well, but it's nothing to brag about.

I was told there was a way to disable this on the main page for me in the CP settings Cliff?
Or you mean disable chat altogether?
