Yes, Make chat be up at all times. What if you're navigating the forum while on the shout box and click on a topic on the forum? shout box gets killed. It becomes inconvenient having two tabs open IMO.

I would like to see the most recent post on the bottom of the chat,not the top...reversed of what we have now.

Otherwise,I think its a good idea...as long as it doesnt turn into a classifieds,or guys constantly posting questions that should be a thread....like somewhere else I know of with a chat

The idea of having the ability to open in a bigger window is cool too...I think that may remedy what just happened...

I walked away for about 30 seconds, came back and missed some replies with another member convo, so an ability to go back and catch up with be aided by a bigger window right?

yep that would be cool, i just noticed text flyin by before i could read it then im tryin to scroll down but it keeps moving an shit.

Besides, I like PM's on For Sale stuff because it is a permanent record of all communication until the sale is completed to mutual satisfaction. Until I get positive feedback, and everything is cool for a month or so, then I'll go back and delete those PM's. I don't ever anticipate a problem, but it is good peace of mind to have appropriate records when conducting business on the forum.

You could use your phone, or texts to iron out small details. Texts would be better than chat, once again you'd have a permanent record.

I think as it is now, the chat log is stored indefinitely.

even though i am banned, I can still see everything!
