Close our own FS ads
I thought it was possible at one point, but not anymore.

I don't think it was ever possible. You may have seen vendors do it.

Closing isn't a problem with me, it's the removal of content that I hate to see.

For example, what if you want to sell a part, and don't know what to ask for it. You could do a search for it, but when the OP replaces his/her info with just *SOLD*, I always RAAAAGGGGEE!

maybe people would stop doing that, if they could just close it

It doesn't make any sense at all to even allow removal of content once a sale has gone through. I'd prefer it not possible, as would Crim. But there hasn't been an easy way to accomplish that.

Good point...

However, they can always report the thread, asking for it to be closed. A mod will close it usually within seconds.

Oh there's a way but if I enable it there will be massive outcry and rebellion.

That's why you report them.
