Thread: new smileys please?

I'm bumping this thread.

I know there is basically no limit to the amount of emoticons we can have. I'd like to see the old emoticons back and "standard" like they used to be. The new ones are awful in my opinion. They do not convey much emotion, nor do they seem to convey the correct emotion based on their underlying ASCII. I feel the classic emoticons should be brought back and made default, and the new stuff (VB 4) should be moved to the back of the line. Who else is with me? Or who actually likes these new things?

I always have to search to find the older style emoticons. I am not a fan of the newer style. In fact, I have to hover my mouse pointer over the newer style ones to get the "pop up" description to see what it is supposed to be representing.

Easy fix.

Yes please, I'm most annoyed about typical ascii not being equivalent to the smiley (like is not a smiley icon shortcut anymore)
