Cliff Easier said than done. The way the usergroup HTML color is enabled actually wraps the userid regardless of what's in the forum template. If you hardcode a variant (#4F5458 for instance), it's still overwritten by the HTML wrapper in the usergroup. I'm not seeing the color-coding as any big deal. No difference between a written label and a color label on who's who in this zoo.
