Thread: Username colors.

yes, but now its all in colors an shows you EXACTLY whos who, its like some racist shit kinda thing, atleast on the internet we're all equal, oh until we're color coded.

i like most of the shit thats bein going on with the forum, and i've agreed with you an other mods on several subjects. however the color thing is a little overboard imo.

Hey, don't assume that because I'm explaining what's happening that I've taken a position one way or another on a change. =D

The main idea behind the change was to address a good number of complaints that moderators were not distinguishable at a glance. Same goes for Vendors. It is possible to accomplish that without also splitting people up into "supporter" and "non-supporter" groups but it just seemed like a logical thing to do. I'm all for it if it means we can get rid of the * Forum Supporter * label that takes up so much space.

I can guarantee you that there was absolutely no monetary consideration behind it. We're not trying to pressure people into giving anyone any money. =/

would be nice if there was a reasonable life time supporter thing then.. i'd pay like 50 bux for a life time thing, i dont even give a shit about the extra inbox space or the uploading images stuff. just dont want to be the guy that hasn't donated, but im not going to do it every year or every 6 months just so my name isn't black

i can understand the mods being labeled with the red coloring... but everything else seems like it says "donate/moderate or be labeled in GRAY!" and as far as the "forum supporter" under the name wasn't as "flashy" as a colored label...

I find the colors too distracting while trying to skim through the pages.

what about a different color instead like solid black or a dark blue. something easier on the eyes
