I'm downloading IE9 to see if I can replicate the issue.

I know, but they are very bitchy about their IT stuff, and misuse will get you fired. They're blocking all social networks, games, newsgroups etc, and they're gonna block stuff like YouTube as well.

I had it installed one time, but when they found out (because the had to remotely access my computer), I got a warning.

Hmm, that makes me think, what if I install Chrome and make the shortcut look like IE? :P

I'll check whether or not it changes when I'm home.

Also, and I can't check it yet myself, but there's no "Like" button on IE9?

Finally, it happens in the userlist at the bottom as well. Although it only shows all the commas in green.

Try "Compatibility mode" in IE9. It will try to behave like IE8. Might help for now. Also Firefox portable on a USB flash drive FTW. =D

I see it's only happening with the forum supporter's accounts, and no one elses (in IE9)

Means it's a usergroup setting. Let me go investigate.

It works now

I'd figured it was something like that. Especially since it skipped "regular" hyperlinks like the links to other users, private messages, etcetera.
