The image resizing is broken. (Firefox 18.0.2 and likely others.)

When clicking to expand the image, it fills to the current width of the post and won't expand any larger even if the original image is wider than the width of the post.

I will post a wide picture in the next post for testing purposes. First notice that the image resizer incorrectly labels the size of the original image (showing 878 x 137 for me when the actual size is 5,396 x 840). Next click on the image resize bar to expand the image and notice it only fills to the current max width of the post.

Possibly could be the default software resizing the image when you post it, then it gets processed by the resizer. Not sure on that.

Bump.
This is still a pretty serious hindrance.

Even after disabling the mod all together, the image still resizes to the window-size. Webkits are awesome...

That doesn't surprise me. Bimmer Forums just went to VB4 and they never had an image resize plug-in, but it is doing the same thing.

Now that VB4 automatically and actively resizes images to fit within the current size of your browser window, it seems to make the image resizer plug-in redundant, and no longer necessary.

That would solve my problem at least. My main issue right now is that all the images are resized much too small. And there is no longer the option to set the default image size like we used to have.

Time to ditch the resizer plug-in? It would be nice to get rid of those ugly yellow bars too.

I appreciate the change from the yellow at least.

If someone were using an archaic browser that couldn't handle web-kits, the images wouldn't auto re-size for them.

Understood.

Where did the controls that allow changing the defaults for the max width/height go? Easy to bring them back?
