^ Computer gets completely cleaned on a daily basis.

It isn't a big deal Cliff, I just notice that the rememer me box is now always checked unless you uncheck it where as before it was always unchecked unless I specifically check it. I only noticed because my computer was idle for quite a while and when I went back to it I expected that the "Dash" would have signed me out but my account was still open because I hadn't yet discovered the reason behind this.

I was just curious if it was a programming change. I suppose I will just have to make sure the box is always unchecked before I sign in, so my accout doesn't get left unattended! A new habit to form I suppose!

Maybe this has something to do with the Matrix?

I know when I put Firefox in private browsing mode the forum "forgets" me regardless of if I tell it to remember me or not. Maybe your browser privacy settings have been changed? Or maybe you could change them so either way it logs you out after a short bit (by not retaining cookies or whatever).

I wish I had an answer for you, honestly. I've tried with both IE and Chrome to replicate what you're seeing, and I don't have the box pre-selected.

I have always had Firefox set to "never remember history" / suggest nothing (searches) / accept nothing etc. I have double checked all of my settings and such and all is as it should be, as far as I can tell. I also tried your suggestion of "always use in-private browsing" and un-checked "accept cookies from sites", cleared my cookie cache and still the same thing. I have also tried with IE and I get the same result as I do with FF. Heck, even my BlackBerry shows that same pesky checkmark! Maybe a Registry issue? I am pulling straws now.

Oh well, I guess.

It's cool Cliff. Thanks for trying anyway. This "check" is like a vac leak I can't find!

I also made separate reply posts for you and Ben because multi-quote did not work for me, despite repeated attempts.

It's all good though, I still dig the Dash! ;]

And for me as well. I may need to dig into your user profile.

Muti-quote working fo me now as well! :-) When I changed my Firefox settings back to "Never Remember History" it seemed to fix that particular issue.

I think I will just learn to "un-check" the box!

That's very strange. I think there are some FF specific issues with the forum's back-end. I'll do some research when I have time.

There are attempts being made to move the "thanks" stuff to within the post. We know it looks bad right now. Sit tight. We know about the "//" stuff too.
