Thread: Double click forum subsection marker to mark as read...

Sorry, long title.

Anyhow, the shortcut in order to mark a forum as read, by double clicking on the icon, doesn't work half the time, for me.

Okay, update time...

I noticed that when I mark forum sections as read, using the thread tools drop down, that it allows me to then double click on the icon next to the forum section, when it's finished marking one particular area as read. Once you go elsewhere on the forum, and then go back to the forum index, you no longer have the option to double click the icon to mark as read.

Is there any way to enable it to where we can double click to mark read, regardless?

never noticed you could do that at all, I will look into it however.

Cool, thanks I got used to it from the other forum, and tried it here and thought that it was pretty standard.

Along the same lines, I've noticed that regardless of the two computers I use, and how often I clear cache/cookies/etc., sometimes I'll click on a section, and there won't be any new threads, however it still shows that threads are unread in the forum index.

After clicking on the section a few times, it will eventually go gray, from red.
