Shawn, I completely agree, wholeheartedly, unabashedly, firmly agree with you.

I really want to know why my thread was deleted as well... I think people deserve to know these things.

That and I still have complained even though the seller said they were in perfect, fine, working condition.

If he cared, all he had to do was break them down like I am doing to diag what is wrong with them. Rebuilding calipers is very easy to do, I have done it multiple times before on my own car and my parents cars, but this is very close to past the "point of no return".

Agreed 100 percent.

I just got scammed again by a member with good feedback.Took a chance for a good deal.Paid for this dudes christmas,I gues...along with 2 others I know of from the same seller recently.

So yeah,I will still sell some stuff here ,but my list of trusted sellers is gonna be REAL SMALL from now on.

I hope someone does start enforcing rules.

I was hoping some other folks felt the same way. Just venting. And stirring the pot in this thread to poke the Staff.

He posted your PM's. You posted his PM's.

No can do. No way. No how. Times two.

Understood.

I looked around, and from his post "assume" he refunded your money via PP?

Ship'em back.

Leave feedback for each other or don't, or start a Feedback Thread in the Feedback Section. Next time detailed pictures, which are actually a requirement in the Classifieds. Stuff is supposed to be photographed. If that rule would have been followed/enforced, you guys never would have gotten sideways. You'd a looked at the photos, and moved right along.

That would have cut off the issue before it even got started.

I'm not saying right or wrong nor even commenting on your particular case.

I'm saying with the rules followed, no hard-feelings, mis-communication, wrong parts, false expectations, misdirection, or drama at all.

Enforce the rules, crank them up, tighten up requirements, and lets figure out a way to make sure we are all communicating properly and dealing with other reasonable and honest folks.

That's where I am coming from for a while now.

I waited a good bit on my last very common upgrade. Had the money in hand, just waiting for the correct Seller to post up. Passed up a bunch of ads and Sellers. No shit.

Ben was doing it for free out of sheer frustration. Why not channel that energy and keen mind of his in a postive manner that works for everyone?

Long as he and Cliff can hug and make up. ...

maybe a good rule for posting parts for sale would be that any forum member selling a part will HAVE to post pics and a easily viewable legible name(both actual and froum name) in each pic, allow a 24 hour time limit to get pics up, then close till pics can be provided...this could possibly help with the scamming

The thing that ticks me off is that there is a template that Kent brought upon us to use. And still, you don't see it being enforced on new sale threads. I say lock up all the threads until people start conforming to the new rules. Along with this, any for sale threads should be pre-approved by a mod.

And also the needless bumping of one's own sale, I can point out several threads that this is being done.

True,I work too hard and am too poor to afford getting ripped off repeatedly, regardless of how hard I try to be careful.
Someone stole a car from my front yard last year, and I know it was someone that found out all my personal info somehow.
The only people who know what I had and where I live(which is in the middle of nowhere) are members here that have gotten parts from me.
I dont post anywhere else, dont have myspace, and my facebook is private.

I am seriously just considering being a lurker and nothing else.Personal info is too easy to get nowadays.
I may just get rid of the cars and leave all together.Sucks, but oh well.
