Fair enough - just seems that no matter the response, the result would be not as good as wanted - In sales, finding 'the number in the buyers head' is difficult. It's a losing battle. The seller wouldn't willingly lower their price to the whole world from one person asking best price, so the repricussions from simply restating the original asking price or saying 'send me an offer and we'll talk', to me, that's silly. If we didn't think the price was reasonable, we wouldn't be asking for that amount.
