Thread: Rules for Classifieds - discussion

It would be nice if I were given the option of improving my for sale thread, rather than just delete my shit whihout any damn notice our even a pm....I mean come on, it was posted before you guys starred getting picky about this shit....why not delete the other thread s too while you're at it, those don't follow rules ad well.

I expect the other threads, to be closed as well, or youre being choosy.

i don't understand why this is such a big deal.

the rules are pretty simple to follow and they aren't asking for a lot out of a seller.

I'll take the heat for this one. I am now deleting threads as I see them, without discretion. I'm tired of giving people the time that they "need" in order to correct something that has been in effect since this forum's inception.

Threads that were created several months ago prior to the "crack down" are often times ignored, because I'd HATE to close/delete every thread since the forum's creation.

oh damn, closing threads without warning?

the forum just started enforcing this.. it's sort of like letting people drive 5 over the speed limit and then suddenly handing out tickets for 3 over ....

why not grandfather all old threads with a warning first, and require all new threads to have the newly-enforced, old rules used to a "T" or deleted without warning?

Because I've given warnings for over 50 threads in the past three days, and only 80% have complied in a timely manner.

I actually like the way the 'for sale' threads are now. Easy to read and to the point. No bs.
