For me it's not about how many different possibilities there are for our chassis, it's how specific brakes are compared to the rest of the suspension. Ideally I'd like to see a suspension section, a wheels/tires section, and a brakes section. But that's just me. I have no problem navigating the forum and finding any and all sections. As for people getting help, I would hope most of us aren't checking specific sections anymore. We should all be using the "New Posts" link which shows the new stuff from all sections. It doesn't matter how buried a section is. We'll see it.

There was a brake specific thread just recently that had nothing to do with how many possibilities we have for these cars.

I'm not trying to fight very hard for the new section. Just a rename of the current one is completely fine with me.

"Suspension and Brakes" or "Suspension (including brakes)" or something like that.

That makes total and complete sense.

"Suspension, Brakes" (and maybe Tires?). Tires are in fact part of your suspension, and brakes certainly affect unsprung weight, another suspension factor. So that stuff is at least very inter-related.

Note that in our Classifieds, the section is called "Suspension and Brakes."

On the other SR20Forum, I cannot find "brakes" for sale, because it is not listed anywhere, or grouped with anything specific. I like our dual-title (Suspension and Brakes) in the Classifieds, because I know exactly where folks should be posting brakes for sale.

I'm down for changing the subsection name however.

its definitely a chore finding where to post brake questions/answers.. who would think to go look in the "suspension" zone??

maybe at least call it "suspension/chassis/brakes"...

Only those four, but I'll have plenty more at times.

I'll go to the "New Posts" section then open up a tab for each thread that looks interesting, then go through and read them. I shrunk down the browser so you wouldn't have to deal with a 1920x1080 image and that made it look like maybe I had more tabs off to the right when I didn't.

I seriously recommend everyone try navigating the forum the same way if you don't all ready. It's the only way to go IMO.

Hmmmmm...... I like that too. Integrated sh*t that all works together.

"Suspension. Chassis. Brakes. Tires."
Keeps you on the road.

All of which is covered in the Stickies that are posted in that section.

That's my vote. Not that I have one. But that's what I would vote.

Organized Browsing?

Good concept. Never thought of that. I'll give that a shot.

So the problem is, the FS sale is already using up the thread URL name of sr20-forum.com/suspension-brakes/.

Crim changed the regular one to be Suspension & Brakes, and it then redirected it to the FS section.

It has to be a new name, which you guys have been working on

"Suspension. Chassis. Brakes. Tires."
Keeps you on the road.

Sounds good
