Chat feature
Okay, here starts my whine session...

The chatbox opening in it's own window is pretty cool, except it doesn't work for me. Not only does it not work on my gov't computer/connection, it doesn't work on my personal computer/connection that doesn't filter content. It agitates me because I see the chat with (x) next to it, which I assume is that there's people online.

I miss the other chat, I guess, is what I'm trying to say.

Do you have javascript enabled? Do you have a popup blocker? These are the only two things that will prevent the window from opening.

You can directly link to the chat feature at the following url:

If you dont see anything appear, you need to have flash8 installed. If you see the chat window appear but nothing show up, then your connection is being blocked (by a firewall or otherwise).

The "X" you see is supposed to be the number of people in the chat. For me its always a digit, not an x.

Yes, I was using X as in the number of people online in the chatroom.

I have the latest flash player installed.

javascript is always enabled, and pop-up blockers are disabled for trusted sites.

I'm currently on a connection that has NO filtering, and the chatroom doesn't populate. The box of course comes up, but no text is ever displayed. This is the same at the work computer.

LOL!

Yeah, it works now. It was because I had the WRONG version of flash installed. I just went to adobe's website and downloaded the latest flash player, and all is good.

Try adding sr20-forum.com to your list of trusted sites in your internet options, and set the security settings to low for trusted sites.

As far as me accessing it from work, still no dice. Bah.
