Its not that i dont agree with, its just how *I* see things. Which isnt exactly the same as everyone else. Its not a deal stopper by any means.
Im really into the copyright discussion these days. I just wish some of the wording on the Content section was a little flushed out and also had some options in it. Including wording saying something to the affect of, "The license of the Content can be altered, changed, substituted, or removed by that of the author." To allow for us to choose our own copyright. Copyrighting the content with Creative Commons licenses makes sense to me. Changing the wording of the second paragraph in the Content section to say something like, "Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike unless otherwise noted." Meaning everything posted here can be used in a non money making way if they give the poster credit and the license that it was posted under follows. This allows you to make changes to the work as long as you give the proper credit and the license you use also allows such sharing. But putting in the otherwise noted allows people to set their work as copyright all rights reserved, to mean you cant do anything with it without asking and gaining permission. I believe allowing freedom is better than not. And allowing people to put their own copyrights on their work would allow you to share or not share.
i do applaud you for putting in the line of the removal of the content. I would add in some idea of ownership language. Something that "by posting Content to the Service you give the Service the License you agree to and all its privileges, upon removal of Content such License is null and void. The ownership of Content stays that of the author, and allows such License agreements as the author sees fit." That way if a person wants to remove all traces of their content, they can and be assured that their content is their content, not to be confused.
Ive had this discussion with various people and Im a firm believer in Creative Commons, and also the free and open source communities. So im in a bit of a minority most the time.
but thats my opinion...and i could be wrong
