Thread: Energy suspension bushing?

hey peeps i'm in need of help , tried to install energy suspension motor mount inserts but they didn't line up with the mounts , if i could shave some of the rubber off with an x-acto knife then i think it would of fit , when installing them were we supposed to rip out the rubber? but upon a closer look my motor mounts (both f/r) are hard and not needed to be replaced , just thought i could install them even though the rubber is still good?

Did you purchase B14 mounts? The Sentra SE has A LOT more crap in the engine bay than the B13 and even the 95-97 200SX. I don't know if that effects the size of the mounts. In fact I put ES mounts in my 98 SE back in like 2002 and IIRC they were supposed to be for the 95-98 200sx SE-R.

Maybe you got the 1.6 mounts? no idea.

naw order them straight from ES put down 01 sentra SE. i looked at an invoice , a while back i had the engine rebuilt and the mechanic changed the front and rear motor mounts , doesn't say part # though . say the mounts are anchor / DEA , would the inserts still work?

Oops, i forgot that Sentra SE means 00-01 as well. I was thinking it was the 98-99 SE/SE-L. I assume you have B15 then with the RR DE?

Bump ! didn't want to start up a new thread but this is for the shifter bushing , there's two part #'s for Energy suspension, not sure which one to get. can anyone help? (btw the ES MMI didn;t work because i didn't know my front and rear mounts were not OEM -_- )
