Thread: B15 se tranny problems

Yea that's what I was thinking also.... When I did the clutch last time the spring had popped out but the car still drove.

so i started working on the b15 today and when i pulled the axles out i was like whoa wtf!!!
ill let the pics do the talking...

turns out that these dam lsd axles are hard as hell to find, i went to three different places and they either had to order them or they had them and they were too short..but after all the bull i pulled the axles off, the passenger side had snapped at the tip and was stuck inside the transmission...managed to pop that piece out and got a new one end of nightmare! of me thinking that my cousin had destroyed my tranny!

I don't even know what to say about that... How they hell did that happen?

I've had b15 lsd axles for sale for a few months now.

pretty sure that b13/15 lsd axles are the same, or a g20 lsd is the same

The splines are different.

Me either, I was like wtf?!?!,
Yea I try not to rag on my car cuz its my daily, but it was my cousin driving when it happened..
I might have to get the driver side axle from you fubar... I'll pm you...
I've compared all the axles and they are all different in the splines area like fubar said.

i dont think so, i may be wrong though, ive used b13 lsd axels in my b13 tranny, my p11 tranny and my 16ve tranny.

I compared axles from a p11 and b15 the passenger side were exactly the same but the drivers side weren't...and the b13 LSD axles aren't the same, and that's comparing them side by side..
