Thread: Motor Mount Issue

Anyone have problems finding the passenger side motor mount for an SE? I ordered one from Rock Auto and it was for a 1.8. After a few phone conversations, it was determined that their suppliers do not carry the correct part even though they advertised it on their site. I did some more checking and it looks like the passenger mount from a B14 SE-R would fit but I'm reluctant to order it without knowing for sure so I'm turning to the gurus on here to ask if it is the same part.

FYI, if anyone else is looking for a passenger motor mount for an SE, all of the other auto parts sites including eBAY say that the 1.8 mount fits the 2.0 and it does not. They are completely different so do not order one using the SE as a reference.

I know someone's going to mention filling the mounts with window sealant but that was not an option since these are FUBAR'd.

Is the one on the pass side the same from 91-01? I think that one is the same.

Sirs, hope you don't mind me asking but are you talking about the engine SR18 and SR20? Because what i know is that SR16 SR18 and SR20 share the same parts if we are talking about B14 passenger side engine mounts, either the B14 is 2door or 4door. It will only differ if the engine is a GA series.

But maybe I'm wrong.

^^ b15 don't have SR18. i'm pretty sure they are talking about the QR18.

B15 passenger mounts a bigger than the b13/b14.

Not an option since the mount itself is busted and it's going to be sold to a family member who doesn't care about performance (it's an automatic)

That what I was thinking but the guys at rock auto don't think so but they don't know Nissans like we know Nissans I'll probably just order the one for the B14 SE-R and hope it fits.

For the record though, RockAuto's customer service is better than I expected from a car parts retailer. They e-mailed me a shipping label to return the incorrect product and did so quickly. It took a couple of phone calls but it got done.
