Thread: Plug/screw on the intake question

Just getting in to learning and understanding car engines recently, i have worked on small engines before though... Wanting to know what this is and if it has to be set a certain way...



My guess was either idle or something to do with the air/fuel mix in some way... And of course my curiosity always gets me and I tightened/loosened it while running to see and now im making sure what it is...

Dont beat me up to much like i mentioned im a noob and sometimes act first then question things...

Idle adjustment screw. be careful, it's plastic and will strip. You need to put the engine in timing adjustment mode for changes to the screw to be effective.
