Fuse block actually. Atleast as far as I know that should be ok.

Do you have pics of your distro block?

Here's what I did and got...all courtesy of www.knukonceptz.com (one of my favorite places to visit )

I mounted this in the engine bay (3in-2out fuse holder). 1 was used for the starter power wire, 1 was for the power from the fuse box, and I ran another 4ga wire straight from the alternator for the hell of it plus the power for the air horns .

Since they give you free fuses, I just ran the largest one they had (150amp). Hey, it was free, no sense in getting a small fuse if its free.

Then, since it's 2output, I ran "2" 4ga wires back to the trunk. I then used this:

Which I ran a 0ga wire from it to the battery. Again, you get free fuses, so I ran 150amp fuses. I then grounded the battery to the trunk (used self tapping screw with nut mounted under trunk to hold it nice and tight) with another 0ga wire.

Hopefully it lasts me.

Those are actually pretty nice! I might have to jump on those...

Now you said you ran 2 four gauge wires. Does or will will the equal 1 0 gauge wire? I don't know how to work that out.

They list the number of strands in each wire on the site. So, I'm showing that each 4ga wire has 2,058 strands, so that's 4,116 for 2 of em.

The 0ga on their site shows 5,145 strands.

So, 2 4ga wires are less strands, but knukonceptz power wires typically have more strands than other companies. I feel comfortable with it, plus that's another reason I ran the extra 4ga straight from the alty.

edit: Just checked out Streetwires site, and they show 4,256 strands for their 0/1ga wire.

good info... looks like I'm going to go with a 0 gauge wire after talking to a hot rod guy at work. He has done this also and said you can't go wrong with 0 gauge. Plus I would rather feel safe knowing that nothing will blow up.
