My '01 Sentra SE /w PP + sunroof weighed in at 2660 at the track. No spare or tools. Deleted EGR. Otherwise full interior. 1/2 tank of gas

Car went 16.0 completely stock /w a slipping clutch in case you're wondering.

Whoa, that's lighter than most P10s. I didn't know what B15s weighed.

Yeah, there is a common misconception that the B15s are heavy. A fully loaded Spec V is in the 2800lb. range. SEs are a bit more basic, and even with options they come in at around 2700lbs. fully loaded. Some of the base model B15 1.8Ls are down in the 2500lb. range stock. The G20s are designed to have a luxury appeal, and as such, they have a lot of extra amenities that weigh down the car considerably. The Sentra has none of these things as it's just a simple 4 door commuter car with added extras depending on trim level. There are a couple Spec V guys that are at 2200lbs. with gutted interior. There is a lot of stuff you can take out too.

I've run my friends 92 B13 SE-R when he had pop charger, clutch, and catless and I was stock he got maybe 3 cars out on me before we both stopped accelerating due to wind resistance. Us B15 guys aren't too far behind.

God lord what the heck did a specv toss to loose 600 lbs .
Ive only managed around 300lbs on my b13 .

Side note there was a thread hear where they gutted a white b15 se then chopped its body up and made passes down the strip. Not sure if they weighed it though .

Spec Vs have a larger torsion bar in the rear, bigger brakes, bigger wheels, 6 speed transmission, all the options, heavier interior pieces (contrary to popular belief). All that stuff adds up and that's a lot of weight to strip out. Your base model B15 Sentra has all cloth interior, sparse options, smaller wheels, no sunroof, drum brakes in the rear, etc. The SE is somewhere in between.

I did see that thread: Free Speed It was a Sentra SE (SR20) automatic. They got the car to 1600lbs. and a low 14s 1/4 mile. They also got the car to 2200lbs. fully gutted before they starting cutting things.

They actually did it the correct way (in regards to suspension and the beam)....

The way that 99.9999% of everyone that owns the car will NEVER do. Bending toe to zero and remove the rear SR link and install an adjustable panhard.

Setting a record with a lightweight car and a VQ!!!!, not a surprise to me.

Car seems fun and even shows a good bit of body roll in the corners.

That's a VQ. They also got a TTE record with just an offset bushing for the rear beam (cheap upgrade) before they switched to a panhard rod.
