Thread: installation of Stillen Lip..with gap

Hey guys, any of you installed the Stillen lip with some issues.

I bought brand new, they shipped to my place, I did not tested fit. After paint and got back from the shop..the lip seems short, very hard to wrap around the front bumper.

Felt like short of a few cm. overall on the side. I manage to wrap around both side of the bumper, the center has a large ass gap in it.

I did used the 3m double side tape, but after couple of bitching and kicking, the tape seems peel off or was beat up.

Is your bumper in good condition (not bent or warped)?

Ive seen pics of them looks so good...When I pulled out of the box, the under portion looks crinkle or push in a little

the lip is designed for 95-97 bumpers. Im assuming your car is a 98-99....with some 98's having the prior year bumpers.

Do you have any pics? That would help...

Also what year is your car?

99 is the guppy look. 95-98 same, I just attach three nuts and washer to held her tight.
Damn, these poor quality Stillen using!
The top edge look like Stevie Wonder strip and cut, very wavy.

I had the grille, sag in the middle on top of the grille. I took it off and put the OEM back on.

The 98 Sentra SE has the 95-97 bumper. the '98 SER has the new style also shared with the 99 SE-L. Just a FYI.
