i think thats a lie. i have the hks, and i actually measured every bend when i got it. if i could find the thread where its all out of the box, i'll post up the post with it.

Must be a B15 thing cause I haven't seen a Stromung exhaust available for a B14 forever.

I think it was Zerosin (sp?) (green VE SE) that measured his and that's where I got the info from. I like the sound of both exhausts....decisions decisions...I have a couple of months to decide at least.

well, if you are planning big things with it, go at least 2.5. the hks is 2.363814798347190324 something.

and on the convo of ssac 2.5 vs fuji, has anyone figured out where the ssac 2.5 starts choking? as ive heard things of the fuji choking down motors past 8k or something like that. it was back on the other forum. dont remember the specifics.

Cams would be the biggest thing and I'm keeping the lower mileage motor so revving to 8k is not in my plans

Is the HKS stainless steel? I'm not certain, but I'm thinking its not. [edit] Answered my own question - the HKS is not stainless, it is a coated steel. The Stromung is stainless and will hold up better over time.

About the header, I don't think I would spend that much for the Fujitsubo. Are there not anymore Hotshot headers around anymore? I would look for one of those if I were you.

Just my .02

They're floating around and most sites that still have them want near Fuji prices. Other than that, Hotshot is out of business. While I'm not a fan of SSAC for my own reasons, it's hard to beat $150 for a header that has shown great gains and has a 2 1/2" secondary. With cams, the additional 1/2" does make a difference.

I figured there might be a few HS headers floating around still, but I wouldn't pay near Fuji prices for them either. For $150 I guess I too would go for the SSAC, but just remember you get what you pay for. I just wouldn't expect it to fit perfectly or last forever without cracking, but at that price they are almost disposable!

LOL way ahead of you on that
